falcon lake colored rodents

Featured Replies

I have heard a lot of good things about the strike king rodents.  I was wondering about the color I have been hearing about(falcon lake).  I just picked up a pack yesterday at BPS, just like to hear if people have had luck with this particular color or no luck and about the rodent bait itself

Have not tried the Falcon Lake color, but have fished with Rodents, mostly in Big Tex color.  They work as well as RI Sweet Beavers on Mississippi River Smallies and they seem to hold up a bit better...more fish per bait.  They cost more per bait than Sweet Beavers, however, so they need to last longer to make up for the cost difference.

The color looks just like a sunfish to me.The SK Perfect Plastics line are high end quality, so I pick some up anytime I'm feeling like a big spender.

It's a good color... My favorite I guess, I designed it. Have fished it with the Rage Craws and Lobsters from East to West across the South and produces as good or better than any other color. As far as fishing the Rodents, I haven't as of yet :D

Falcon Lake Craw is my favorite color. It has worked wonders for me in low light, bright sun, clear water, or murky water. Doesn't seem to skip a beat.

Nice Photo Shane... That Craw looks like it's ready to get wet and noticed you like the weighted hook on it too. The fish sure do

I have had some luck with this color here in MO. I have only used the color in the Rodent but i have since purchased some other baits in the falcon lake color. Anyone else have any luck this year with the falcon lake color?

Ive never seen falcon lake craw in person... its not a laminate right? its a solid color isnt it?

I use the rodents for flipping along with sweet beavers and of course rage craws. I haven't used the falcon lake color. My favorite color is watermelon red flake.

I used it a jig tralier in Okeechobee Craw in April and it worked really well. The black blue and watermelon red was a good pitch bait the fall. It's a good bait.

I haven't tried that color, but the Rodent produced for me at the end of this year.

I hate to hijack your thread, but when did the smaller Rodents come out? I thought they were new for this coming year, but after looking at the few that I have I noticed that I have the smaller size.
