Two More Lews Speed Stick Spinning Rods

Featured Replies

I purchased two more 6' LEWS speed stick spinning rods today. A medium action and a medium/heavy action rod. I figure a lighter line spinning setups. I want to add a lighter crankbait medium action setup with 4# or 6# test. And a smaller plastics setup using 6# test with the m/h action rod. For spinning reels it's the US REEL SUPER CASTER Spinning reels. I have a LEWS 6' heavy action rod with 8'test for spinnerbaits. Ok I moved up from the late 60's & 70's fishing rods I been using. They feel awesome.

I now also have the better quality bait caster rods too.

I'm going in the right direction now. God bless bigbill

Cool bigbill

Bigbill, I can relate. I started fishing on a regular basis again about 10 or 20 years ago, after my children were old enough not to "swordfight" with my rods. I have 15 or 20 older rods that I collected to remind me of the old days, but the newer rods are SO much better. ALL of the older rods are in storage now, and the older reels that I loved so much get no use. I'm almost ready to sell them to clear space before I'm featured on a Hoarders episode. The newer stuff is better, period.
