Wondering which size I should get?

 

6930: Line capacity: 6/145

 

or

 

6935: Line capacity 8/125

 

This will be paired with a 6'8 medium extra fast action Carbonlite rod

 

 

which one you think will fit the rod/techniques better? Im leaning toward thr 6/145 but not quite sure...also there is almost an ounce difference between these reels so im trying to keep my setup pretty lightweight

I'd go for the 30. I think the 35 is better suited for jigs, t-rigs, and things of that nature. The 35 would feel a little out of place on a 6'8" rod to me.

I would also go with the lighter of the two, I use as small of a spinning reel as I can get away with...

Yeah I was thinking the same, just wanted to make sure the setup was balanced, this combo is going to be super light which is definitely what im going for.

Go for the smaller one. It's got plenty of line capacity for what you will be using it for and it'll keep your setup lighter.
