The Quantum Energy PTI reel is currently on sale for 60$ from 140$ at Cabelas. Seems kinda fishy that a reel would be priced so low, do you guys know if theres something wrong with the reel? Some complain about the lack of an anti revers switch but I don't really need that.

It's a good reel, it's just a discontinued model. I don't recall them having any notable issues. There's a new Energy that was released last summer, that's why the particular reel on Cabela's is so low.

Good reel I got the energy BC on closeout from cabelas. Look around there are a few quantum threads that mention the spinning reels.

Cabelas often gets their merchandise at a later time and because of it they often have a lot of inventory on discontinued models so they will blow them out to get rid of them to make room for new inventory.
