want to use bass snaps , just don't know what size to order. I will only using them for shallow to med. depth cranks. any advice ?

Size 1 should be what you're looking for.

I agree with size 1. They're generally rated at 20# strength and that's always been more than enough for me.

Yes, it improves the action.

i use both size 1 and 2.

i also think it improves the action...

and sure makes it easy on a bank fishing day to change cranks...
