I had bought by first bass boat last year and bought it knowing that the livewells did not work.

 

How do you wire the wire underneath the floor? I can install new livewell pumps and can wire it up, but I just don't get how people get the wire from the back to the middle to the front under the floor.

Go to home depot and get yourself a plastic fish tape. They are in the electrical section. You run the fish tape from the console to the livewell or vice versa. Tape the wires to the fish tape and pull them thru. I wouldn't recommend letting the wiring sit on bare metal because it's sure to rub thru. Newer boats come rigged with plastic conduits to run the wires thru. 

My boat is a 1996 stratos and it does have like a plastic tubing that the wires run throught at least from the back to the console. I'm not exactly very handy....but the fish tape wire will be able to be thread through that and to pull wire through? Thanks for the previous reply.

Why not just cut the floor out and get it out of the way,  It's much easier to install pumps and wiring then.

 

Actually, just kidding,  If you have conduits built in, you are home free with a fish tape,  Just be sure to cover the end with tape so when pulling it through, it does not hang other wires in the conduit and ****** them loose,
