Has anyone been able to try out the new Berkley Braid? If so what size and what are your thoughts? How does it compare to PowerPro and Suffix 832. Thanks

 

I havent directly used it, but if it is anything like the quality of their 100% fluoro, you won't be disappointed. My favorite fluoro.

I rigged up a rod with 30 lb Berkley braid over the winter. I haven't been able to use it much yet, but from the few casts I made, it is really smooth. No backlash problems. Seems good to me.

I'm wondering how it differs from the Berkley Fireline Braid that also is an eight carrier radial braid?  Maybe just re-packaging a product that is often confused with the original flat fused Fireline...
