Got On The Water For The First Time This Season

The wife and I moved into our camper on the lake Monday hope to be here for a couple of months but that's another story.

 

Took the boat out for a run to make sure its ready for the season decided to fish for about an hour after watching a guy bring in a 5.6  from off the bridge next to the camp ground.

 

Started flipping a jig and picked up a nice 3 pounder in a heavy grass line.

 

That is the first time I have ever fished a jig, really looking forward to this year and the best thing is I got to say "THERE HE IS" so my wife could laugh at me.
