Hey everyone,

    I got a quick question.  I have a Rocket that I will be using for pitching and the spool just does not "free spool," as much as I should.  It actually is a really great reel, but my Curado Es free spool a lot better.  Not sure it is because the Rocket has only been fishing twice, or what.  All the brakes are off and tension knob is so loose it is ready to fall off the reel.

   Any suggestions, or tips is greatly appreciated.

Start by flushing the bearings and oil them with one small drop of light oil. One of the bearings is on the spool so you may not be comfortable tackling that yourself. I'd just fish it hard the way it is and send over when your ready.

My fishing partner has a Rocket on a Loomis NRX803, and it is the sweetest pitching combo I have ever used. I would have a couple if my budget allowed!The revo casts great, with good control of the spool provided by the braking system. Sounds like yours just needs a little TLC. Good luck.
