Has anyone had experience drop-shotting with beavertails?  (ex: Berkley Havoc Pit Boss)

Solved by Droppingshot

Never done it, but seen a lot of people do it. Seems to work pretty well for them.

I fish the the pit bosses pretty regularly. I tend to use them to punch, or on the back of a jig. I have been enjoying drop shot (power shot) on 17lb test with a short leader (about. 4-6") to not get hung in heavy cover. I use creatures and 7" roboworms mainly. I like power shotting when I'm flipping cover cause I think the fish get used to seeing the bait hit the bottom. Gives them something different to look at when the lure stops and jiggles right before touching down.

No, never, ever. Now shut up and don't even think about mentioning it again.
