Featured Replies

What lure would have the best chance of getting these bedding bass to bite?

Lizzards or water dogs. Both of these eat the bass eggs.

Lizard, Wacky rig or Shaky Head with a finesse worm. I have also had good luck with a big squarebilled crankbait in those conditions, casting to visible cover. for plastics natural colors are the key, and for the crank, i like a bit of a brighter color.

Bluegill wakebait has been good for bustin bed fish. That and a shakey head bold bluegill roboworm gets nailed. Caught numerous fish Saturday on the robo probably 23 bank fish on these
