During my retrieve, the piece where the line goes through and moves left and right will get stuck on the right side for several rotations and build up line unevenly on that side.  Tried oiling but only marginally helped.  Any suggestions?

The way that the worm gear works makes this almost impossible.. Make a long cast with lure like a spinnerbait that will give you some tension, and reel it in with a steady retrieve.  It should level the line out properly.

Check the tension on The worm gear cap. If that doesn't by correct it send it back to abu. They will make it right. Awesome customer service.

Make sure the levelwind pawl cap is tight. If it is, send the reel for repair or return to ABU/retailer for replacement depending on warranty status.
