Best/favorite Frog Rod Owned?

Featured Replies

Shimano cork handled 7'-2" Extra Heavy/Extra Fast Crucial rod.

i cant see casting a frog on a 7'6 up rod and I am 6'2 lol , but I hardly have vegetation, I have really never had to drag a frog, always walk or spit

I typically dont walk frogs, I use a tip up presentation, especially in the heavy cover... so the longer rods do a nice job of casting a long way, but also having a more favorable line angle to get the fish up out of the slop and in the boat... if i fish them in open water, i use a 7'MH/F but that is not very often...

Denali Rosewood 6'10" heavy/moderate fast. Great rod!
