Saw a commercial for rotating treble hooks made by Spintech.  I think it's a great idea.  Has anyone tried them yet??

One of the guys in our Smallmouth club is a big crankbait guy and he swears by them...says they have reduced his number of fish lost to thrown hooks significantly.  They're a bit too pricey for me as I don't throw crankbaits all that often.

they definitely are pricey but i really like the concept.. I wish some higher end baits would come with them on!

It's always funny, with things like this, because you have some guys loving them and saying they reduced his catch rate, and you get others hating them for the opposite reason.  They didn't seem to help me at all, most likely because I never catch anything big enough for it to matter.

I love the concept, but my concern is if this design makes it hard to get a solid hookset. 

Thanks for the posts on them so far.  I guess it's like everything else....some like 'em and some don't.
