shimano crucial 6'6 mhf - right now using for buzzbaits and spinnerbaits. hav a lews tp 6:4:1 on it

cabelas tournament zx 7'3 frog rod - lews super duty 7:1:1

powell max 683 - just picked this up. unsure what

ill use it for. unsure of what reel

am i off to a good start here? any suggestions for another setup or two? i definitely want to get a solid texas rig rod. was using a basspro graphite series medium heavy for that the past few yrs want to upgrade that rod

You're missing a plastics rod, you can of course use the Crucial as your plastics rod and the frog rod as a pitching rod.  Overall though you are on the right course.  For your Powell Max, I'd probably use that as a hard/soft jerkbait rod or you can switch it up with the Crucial as they both are about the same.  (Just going by the 3 power designation)
