Powell Rod Experts: Diesel 723 = Which Powell Max?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, thanks in advance here if I don't reply to all.

I'm looking to pick up a Powell Max that is equal to the specs of the Powell Diesel 723.

For the life of me I just can't figure out all of the different numbers and ratings for all of these.

This rod will be used for throwing topwaters, some spinnerbaits, some light wakebaits...

The 723 Diesel has done all of these very well with it's 3 power, mh....It also is ex-f which isn't usually ideal for these applications from my understanding...

Any suggestions would be fine. I'm looking to upgrade but if nothing in the Max lineup is equal or close I'll just pick up another Diesel...

Thanks again!!

By the way, if anyone happens to have the rod I'm looking for, pm me with price ...I only have one rod left for trading and it's a Crucial Swimbait rod, new without tags....
