Recent Cabelas Trip

Featured Replies

While traveling for work last week, we took a slight detour to the Cabelas in Dundee, Michigan. (my second time at a Cabelas, first time there)

While I walked the aisles in the fishing department, I saw items that I can't get at my local BPS, but the majority of items were the same, including prices.  Anyways, I digress.............

I picked up a couple bags of soft creature baits.  I have NEVER had any luck with soft plastics of any type, but decided to pick these up regardless.  (I will be turning over a new leaf this year and actually attempt to try the plastics everyone raves about)...........

anyways, I bought a pack of the 4" vibraGRUB in the Leechblood color.  These look rather nifty.  They have the wavy things on its side.  To me, that makes me think its a swimming lure.  Although it doesnt say what size or what method of rigging it works best on......can anyone offer any advice on this?  anyone ever use this plastic???  It looks really neat

second bag o plastics i bought was the Big Bite Baits 4" Real Deal Craw, green pumpkin color.  I don't own very many creature baits but thought this looked promising. I hear a lot of people using Big Bite baits, but again, myself, never have.  This looks like another plastic that can be rigged every which way under the sun.  any advice on this rigging method?
