New Hard Baits Plastic Problem

Featured Replies

Has anyone else had this problem? I have 2 slow sink Spro BBZ 1 swimbaits one in Perch the other in Rainbow Trout. What I have noticed is that the plastic on these baits is deforming-warping. I have some Lucky Craft baits that are doing this as well. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it because they are getting to hot? I am putting them away wet? I am more than upset that these baits all of them costing more than $10 a piece are deformed and some of them are not going to work as they should. I will post some pictures to show you what I mean, when I get home.

Are you maybe storing these in your car under the hot sun?

You gotta store your tackle in the garage or basement.. plastics in general dont like heat.

Heating plastics are the same as age accelerating them.

There´s nothing like a good sauna !

Depending on what the climate is where you live it's probably not a good idea to keep in your boat.
