Like them? Best time/techniques/gear to fish them .........or don't care for them?

I like these a lot. The profile matches a small bream. I like bull bream, red ear, and the usual shad colors. Use them any where you would use a shallow flat-sided crank but I like other cranks for cold water. I change out the stock trebles.

I like them too. I think they have a more aggressive wobble than most flat sides.  So I use them in transition from the flat sides to the bandits....  They work good!

These have been around forever, can be tough to cast in the wind, but have a great wobble to them even at slow retrieves.
