Ok Spinning Setup?

I wanted input on this spinning setup.  It will be used for dropshotting and light weight plastics.  I am looking at getting a *** Black 7'1" Medium rod with a Lews Tournament HS 300 reel.  I like the pricepoint on that reel and I am pretty set on that rod as I have recently had the ability to handle one.  Let me know what you think, thanks!

    The rod is absolutely great. I know nothing about the reels. I know in the past I wasn't impressed with Lews spinning reel quality. The newer models are supposed be improved.

    Personally, I have not liked any of the Lew's spinning gear I have tried. But I would recommend a Pflueger President or Supreme, if you are not yet sold on the reel you are looking at now.
