ever dipped a jig in JJ's?

Featured Replies

ok, maybe this is a dumb question...  :-?

but here i go..

anyone ever dipped the ends of a jig in JJ's?  :-/

i know dipping the trailer in...makes sense..  but what if you're using a trailer that already has scent like a chigger craw or a paca chuck...and you don't want/need to dip them.

just wondering if anyone has ever actually dipped the tips of a jig??

would it disintegrate the jig fibers??  or just give my tackle bag a nice JJ odor?

Yes.  I do it when I'm getting bit but the fish aren't holding on to it long enough to get a hook in em. I'll dunk the whole thing in - trailer and all.

Yes, I do it all the time. I mainly use the Merthiolate and the red to dip the tips of a green pumpkin or watermelon skirt with. For some reason that little bit of red makes a big difference in the Spring of the year.

Only did it once.

Put the jig back in the box; the box back in the tackle bag; and the bag back in the Jeep.

Did you know that those plano 3700 boxes don't close up really tight?

I'm sure you didn't find as funny as I just did...sorry, man, but...

No apology necessary. It's funny now. It was NOT funny in the middle of last summer.

JJ's is a wonderful addition to your spaghetti sauce as well.   ::)
