Denali Vs Duckett Vs St Croix

Featured Replies

Hey guys I'm looking for a spinnerbait rod in the $100 price range. I'm trying to choose between the Denali jadewood, duckett ghost and st croix mojo bass for my lews speed spool. Which rod is best?

I have a Mojo bass and i love it. Can`t say much for the other 2

The jadewood spinnerbait rod was discontinued awhile back, I believe the topwater rod is the same blank but if you throw more than 3/8 its a little soft. Personally I would spend the additional 29 bucks a get the kovert. A great spinnerbait rod and also makes a good squarebill rod.

If you have to have the split handle go for the Mojo, I would step it a notch and go with the made in USA  Premier, there have been some Mojo models with problems (quality control issue) they are warranted so they will take care of any problems, i would go with the Premier since it has a great track record, and a great rod plus they finish it with a complete handle and reel seat!!! Been around for over 20 years and will be here for another 20,,,,,,says something! :thumbsup1:

Ya I like that premier. I felt it in bass pro shops seemed light and well balanced and I'm ok w/ the full cork grip. I also like that its made in the USA.
