worms

Featured Replies

im not sure you can find them in your area, but if you   find some Uptons Customs, 8.5" ribbontail you wont be sorry. hand poured, floating(really float). These are awesome baits, and something the fish will not have seen.

Zoom Ultr-vibe Speed Worms - that's the ticket!!

Try the Junebug, Junebug-red and Redbug - drag 'em along the bottom and hang on!

Have you tried using them like a buzzbait? If they miss it, just pitch a trick worm back at it....deadly combo

Gene Larew 7 ½ Salty Ring Worms; the rings give the illusion of a thicker worm while having less plastic for the hook to penetrate.

Wal-Mart's 6 Renegade brand worms produced one of my biggest tournament stringers (28.5); it's a simple hook tail worm.

Mr. Twister's Phenom Worms are available in 33 colors & still a phenomenal price; 20 @ $2.83 & 100 @ $11.59

Mann 's Augertail ;)

Can you still buy those? I've used those, and done well doing so. But, it's been a long time since I've either had any, or seen any.

I have a big bunch of them even in colors no longer made ( like motor oil shad ), since I liked them so much I hoarded a "few" packs. As you mention, they lost popularity to other baits and many dealers no longer carry them so they are hard to get unless you order them directly from Mann 's.

You are right--nearly impossible to find anymore--glad you can order direct from Mann's at very reasonable shipping--augertail  is one of the best worms  ever dragged in front of a bass--IMO-- :)
