Senko Strikes Again

Featured Replies

The spawn is over in my favorite pond I fish. This weekend I really stuck too much to my spawn lures/presentations, with no luck. So I switched it up to a Strike King Shim-E Stick in Red/Black wacky rigged, and man that baby lit em' up. I caught some before the worm even got to the bottom, that's the kind of fishing I like!

Looks like the summer Senko season is here!

In Missouri and Illinois as well

I would try a zoom centipede in watermelon to they are waxing it here

Yeah gotta love senko type baits they'll get them biting when nothing else will

You guys haven't fished in Delaware I see.lol.Son and I fished for 4hrs yesterday, with only one bass being caught.Maybe it was the front that blew in on Thurs, but nothing would work.

Zoom Centipedes are much like the 4 inch senko type baits. I fish them the same way. Don't over work the bait.

wish I had the same luck i threw 5 different baits yesterday including senkos and came away with 2 small bass!

i do love senko fishing though!

I caught 5 bass yesterday, 3 on senko, 1 on Yum dinger, and one on lipless crank.  The lipless crank fish was the most fun, and the only non-plastic catch since before spawn.  It be Senko season down here now.

Same here, senko's have been killing it for me on a wacky rig for the past 3 weeks.  Crazy colors too like pink and white.

Senkos and Senko-style baits do NOT catch fish, do NOT tell your friends about them either.

Yeah gotta love senko type baits they'll get them biting when nothing else will

+1

The closest bait to "guaranteed". All year, soooooo versatile to match all conditions, temps, clarity, season. Etc.

Nice! Gotta love the Shim E sticks! That's the only Senko type lure I will use. Affordable and catches fish!!
