Was just curious as I bought some of the hollow body strike king and the action is great but after one bite (even with glue) they hang off hook.  Do you all insert the weight in head of body or use hook with bigger collar.

Mike Long has some good videos about rigging swimbaits on youtube.

The strike king have a terrible nose. The screw lock doesn't stay in well at all. The best screw is actually gamakatsu. It doesn't have that center pin so it he better and doesn't core out the nose like other ones such as a owner.

I really like mustad power lock plus weighted hooks they work the best for me
