I thought i would try hollowbelly swimbaits this season, so i bought a few of these, any opinion on how well they catch bass.

I don't know about the ones you have, but the ones I got from Dick's on clearance a few years have the most toxic smell I've ever, well....smelled. Never caught anything on them, they're in my bait bin of shame. 

Tried them a few years back, was not impressed. My favorite is made by Pro Swimbaits, Basstrix is another excellent choice.
