Looking at the Air series. I'm a little confused about the jump in weight range between the MH and H. I'm looking for something to pitch 1/4-3/8oz jigs and smaller frogs in sparse cover. The 7'H seems like it might be a little heavy. Would the MH be too light?

No MH is not to light... :Victory:

As a custom builder, all of the pitching rods I have built, or purchased from the rack., have been medium heavy power and fast tip action rods in the 6'6" 7'6" range...
