Hey guys im going to b using my flipping and frogging rod for smaller swimbaits in the 1/2 to 1 1/2 oz range.What line do recommend for this combo? I was thinking about using 50 lb braid for the frogging and flipping combo and a fluoro leader for the swimbaits. Would this work? Thanks for the help

That is what I do and have no trouble

I use 20 to 25 lb P-Line CX for swimbaits up to 4 to 5 ounces.  

Gamakatsu 25 , P-line 25 CXX Or Yo-Zuri 20

That's on a 300 series shimano... All those lines are Rock solid for swimbaits of most sizes
