  2. I have a handful of them. Not sure if they are even made anymore. I definitely caught some fish on mine.
  3. they make a Medium Heavy version as well if you are concerned about hook strength.
  4. yeah, I also quit using the Z-man stuff. Big Bite Baits has a nice hook and the Owner Block Heads will be great once released. Going to use the Roboworm Ned baits now as well.
  5. I got my hands on a pack of them in Green Pumpkin Black Flake and love them. just holding them, they are full of action. Going to be a good elaztech alternative
  6. on a 1/4 oz swim jig, I use either a 3.3 or a Reaction Innovations little dipper. You don't want anything much bigger to overpower the jig.
  7. Tackle Warehouse has them all in stock.
  8. Gave these a try this weekend as a Ned Rig alternative and I loved them! Didn't see any difference in catch rates vs the elaztec. The Limit Maker also has a better hook. Comes with a 3/0 Gamakatsu. C-ya Z-man.
  9. Is this instore only?
  10. so I'm done with Z-man. Had a full pack of TRDs in the original package melt together. Even if I do exactly what they say, the product still has a shelf life shorter than guacamole. I don't want to use salt filled half senkos or dingers. Looking for other unique plastics to use on the ned heads such as the Big Bite Baits Limit Maker, Berkley Twitchtail minnow, or maybe Keitech Leach. What are you guys using?
  11. Wal-Mart in Attalla, AL had all their rage products $1 a pack. I bought all they had. 30 packs. Structure Bugs, Rage Craws, Space Monkeys. In basic colors. Green Pumpkin, Blk Blue Flk, Watermelon Red. They were on the clearance row in a big bin on the bottom shelf along with Z-Man Chatterbaits for $1
  12. a secret bait of mine is to get the smaller size and it walks like a champ. Catches a lot of fish for me.
  13. I dont recall mine smelling. They are very salty. Not sure I like them yet or not. I carolina rigged one last weekend and having one side flat was weird on the hook. I may just wacky them.
  14. Id avoid all that cheap stuff. a dadgum Shimano Caenan can now be had for $79.99 MSRP so Im sure you can find them cheaper than that.
  15. The Alabama craw rage craws are hit or miss too. Some are solid green pumpkin. Some are more than 50% orange.
  16. I use 20lb braid with a 10lb fluoro leader majority of the time on my Dobyns spinning combos.
  17. I use a bunch of different ones. Diry Jigs Pro Buzz when I want to use a Keitech or Horny Toad. Cavitron. and then a Hammerhead version like the new Nichols Reflex.
  18. the tails are trash once the first joint gets separation. I switch to plastic worms as well.
  19. I have noticed they are overall one of the slowest to get new products in.
  20. I only use the 2 bigger sizes. 20lb braid is kinda on the small side. I toss them on my swimbait rods with 65lb lb braid. I tie direct. The tails suck that come with the rats. Once they get stretched, they hang on the hooks every cast. Have to replace with a zoom trick worm.
  21. Pencil 85 was way to short for me. The Dogma's I had were 50/50 on if they would walk right. For smaller 4" baits, I stick to the Sammy, Gunfish, Rover, and Super Spook Jr.
  22. the hook keepers are stainless. Only thing that should rust is the split rings and hooks. I had one underwater for 8 months and all of my main components were perfect. Only had to swap split rings and hooks.
  23. This past weekend, I put one on the back of a Dirty Swim Jig and the tail wouldn't even kick unless I burned it. I am also very disappointed.
  24. id not waste my time with the chinese baits with joints like that. There are multiple brands like that. Raw is one of them. 1 Bullshad will last and catch more than 3 of those $20 baits.
