Polarized Sun Glasses

Featured Replies

In need of some advice.  I wear prescription glasses and would like to find a reasonably priced pair of "clip on" lenses that effectively cut through surface glare.  I have tried a few with little success.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

I've never used clip-ons, so I can't help. You say you've tried some with "little success." What does that mean? Perhaps if you list the specific problems someone might be able to help.

"little success" translates to continuing glare and inability to see under water better than with the naked eye.

Go to your eye dr and have him/her make you a pair of sun glasses.  Mine work very well.

I wear prescription glass and found Solar Shield polarized sunglasses at Walmart in a couple of different color lens. They're not clip-ons, but go over your standard glasses nicely and you don't even notice them. Just get the right size for your prescription so they go over them nicely, and they only cost I think it was $20.

Costco GREAT prices on prescription Polarized Sun Glasses.

From what I am told you can get special colored polarized lenses to fit oakleys.
