Pond Fishing In Oklahoma

Featured Replies

Savage gear has done it. I'm digging the 3D 8" light color trout slow sink. Landed several nice bass on some farm ponds. Water visibility is clear. Slow reeling next to grass beds. I throw it with an okuma reel that is spooled with 65lb power pro braid line. I like the idea when I catch a fish on this lure it will be a big one. These swim baits are the most realistic lures I have ever owned.

I am new to bassresource. Trying to learn the In and outs how to post pics and all.

Jacobfoote, what he is talking about is that your post sounds more like a plug for Savage other than a post.  I understand you are new.  As we all once were.  I remember some of my "not so great" posts as well.  When you get a chance stop by the introduction thread.  Introduce yourself and let us know something about you.

Then chime in on some posts.  Make some suggestions.  I can tell you from experience on here that most everyone will ignore posts like the one you posted above.  The reason being, you are new.  For the peeps on here to take you serious, you need to make a respectable amount of posts.  Just my 2 cents.

It's not the number of posts. Newbs are totally welcome. It's that the post reads like a plug for a lure and company.

Thanks for the information guys. I was trying to follow the Savage buy 1 lure and receive 2 free for posting and contacting the company to receive lures. I did what was asked and still had no luck. I guess I was hook line and sinker. I'm having problems posting pic as well. Says file is to large.
