I noticed that Tigger X, Berkeley Gulp, and a few others make leeches.  Has anyone used these for bass, or are they strictly a walleye kind of bait.  If so, how do you rig em?  I thought they looked pretty cool in the package, but I thought they might just end up looking like a black power worm.

Rig them like any other plastic. They work well. Live leeches are often used for smallmouth fishing. Bass really don't care if your bait looks like something they normally feed on. Plastic worms are probably the number one largemouth bait but bass seldom find real worms in lakes.

Sounds good.  I know of a weedy, mossy pond I'd like to try em out on.  Seems like they might work well on a carolina rig.

Was given a pre-rigged leech for father's day.  Of course, I threw it first and caught a LMB on the third cast. I didn't like the fall or the action well enough to keep throwing it all day, but I will toss it out there again.

I've caught a lot of bass on them while fishing for walleye. I'd say a drop shot would be your best bet. Bass LOVE leeches. When the walleye fishing is slow I'll toss a leech up towards shore just for the hell of it, and its very rare that it lasts more than 2 casts without catching one.
