Any one got any reports for this lake?

Fishing has been decent on the lake for us. Bank fishing around the camping/day use areas are typically tough because they are hit so heavily during summer months. If your able to get out on a boat don't hesitate to hit cover along the main channel, we can often find something in a matter of minutes. The fishery is pretty unique due to the presence of spotted bass. According to other folks they now outnumber both the large and smallmouths in the lake. They're pretty aggressive an can often be caught on plastics (Last time out they really liked Cotton candy and oxblood worms). If your fishing from a boat, we always return the fish on the opposite side they're caught on. I was instructed to do this from a former pro who explained to me that they release some sort of chemical that will spook nearby fish after caught. Hope this helps!
