What softbait works best for you in stick piles?

Featured Replies

I have been fishing a small pond recently that has alot of stick piles on the shoreline. Im talking the entire one side of the pond is all small stick piles on the edge of the pond. What softbait works best for you in these piles and what rig do you use? Im thinking maybe T-rigged culprit 7.5inch weightless?

t rigged and you probably will want to peg the weight.  i would use something with a straight tail or a beaver type bait would be a good choice.

this is also one of the few times that i will occasionally fish a senko with some weight, i prefer a screw in weight for this.  the straight tailed worms will not wrap around the branches as much as the ribbon or swirl tail worms can.  another option is any kind of creature bait.
