    24" didn't get to weigh her, but i guessed near 8 pounds.

    20 minutes before a storm rolled in, i took my canoe out on buddies pond, that was my fifth cast.  she jumped 4 times and my heart stopped every dang time.  

     

    swam away looking strong!
