Hello, what would be the best way to paint spinnerbaits?  Would I use powder or vinyl paint?

How do you keep the powder paint from getting on the hook?

I think that you could just not dip the hook in to keep it from being applied to the hook.

Not getting paint on the wire or hook is tough.  I use a small makeup brush.  Dab the brush in the powder paint, then dab on the spinnerbait head while it is hot, works great.

maybe tape over the hook would work... just like taping off edges when painting a room
