I have a lowrance 4x elite fishfinder and I cannot seem to get setting right because the screen will just be covered in green and red because of the weeds. Anybody know what I can do to get less weeds on the screen to show a better bottom contour?

Go into shallow water mode and turn your sensitivity down a little bit until you can still mark the weeds but they don't clutter the screen.
