Does anybody have any info on this rod?

*** just posted up about them

"Micro Magic Pro

Any issue you may have encountered with the Micro Magic line of rods have reportedly been addressed, tested and fixed with this new rod series without changing the action or performance. The Micro Magic Pro has a Carbon fiber scrim for added durability, high gauge ring-lock guides with braid-proof inserts, a double flanged tip, cut-proof EVA butt and more line-to-guide contact for better sensitivity.

The Micro Magic Pro spinning rods have a really cool MicroWave line control system that’s said to offer superior line control because it is straightened exiting the first guide. We’re looking forward to trying it out!"

And these won Best in Show for Freshwater Rods, and plus i like the original Micro Magic rods :)

The write up on those is why I avoided the Duckett rods, the micro magic had breakage problems, that was addressed and then the last two years or so there were a lot of complaints about the guides breaking off, especially on hook sets. It doesn't mean it happens to all of the rods but it happens enough that they had to change components, on another forum it was stated that the new ones had different guides, a completely different manufacturer.
