New Baits Tried Today #ragetail #win

First

Rage bug: fishing it like a crank bait on humps and ledges. Smallies more than LMB are hammering this thing like it's their only duty being a fish. Like the almighty embedded in their genetics to see rage bugs and destroy them. Amazing! I stopped fishing them mid day as I only have 2 packs and tournament is Sunday. Great job Rage Tail! I've been rigging it with a 3/16 bullet weight in 5-10ft and 1/4 in 10' and over.

Second

Zoom horny toad. I guess this has been around for years and I live under a rock. First cast of the day trying it out and had a 3lb LMB. I fish the hollow body frogs a lot with mixed results. This bait I didn't fish a lot as top water died down but the action and buoyancy of it is really good.

Third

Siebert jigs need I say more? Not new completely new to me but color pattern is. Sapphire blue punch head with bluegill skirt. They perform, business as usual.

Forth

Biospawn baits a trick worm and stick worm both worked good. Had gotten these through MTB. New company I definitely plan on grabbing more.

That's it for today.

X2 on everything you said. I have become a big fan of bio spawns products and have bought multiple packs with my last 2 TW orders

Glad to hear the Rage Bugs are working well. I just bought some to fish on a hard head in place of the biffle bugs. Hope to try them out next week.

They are actually called Structure Bugs and are a Rage Tail bait. I got mine at BassPro.

don't use anything over 1/4oz unless you're dragging it. It kills the action on the fall. More subtle the approach the better. $0.02
