hey bro,

i could have pm'd you w/this info, but, since the question you asked is one that arose on an open post, i thought someone else may be interested in the reply.

the "andy" i'm talking about is andy lamar @ lamarfishing.com.  ..andy is one of the nicest guys you'll ever do business with & he would love to set you up w/a cts blank...... be forewarned, there are different grades & the one i chose is pretty expensive (more than the ones you quoted).  ..to me, it is worth every penny, however. ..it's just an un-believable rod.

speaking of rods, i was thinking about the loomis slate you built today.  how expensive was it????  do you think it is worth the price??? ...i'm going to build a 7'6 pitching or frog rod when i finish the two i'm on now.   ...i was going w/a st croix blank, but, would consider a loomis.

..right now, however, i'm laid up with a swollen knee that began yesterday & got "full blown" this morning while i was fishing.  ..ankles & wrists are really painful as well....  Sound Familiar??????

Ronnie,

Thanks for the contact info for Andy. I will contact him about the CTS noodle pole.

It sounds like we are living in a parrallel universe. Day before yesterday I ordered a G-loomis FS904 7'6" IMX Flippin Stick blank . The blank costs $165 from ''Mudhole". I am guessing with the guides, cork and reel seat it will total a little over $200 for the finished rod. I am stoked about this rod.

I really hope you get some relief from the pain soon, and yes, I can empathize with you on that one.

Ronnie
