Broke my cavitron buzzbait, I'm gonna order more of those but I need some decent buzzbaits for this weekend.

Any good ones at academy?

I just went ahead a went to academy, bought a black and a white strike king buzz bait.

Hopefully they are pretty good lol

Looked around the entire hooks section and they didn't have one pack of trailer hooks.... Sigh...

Sounds like our Academy, they stock a lot of nothing!

I'd just get some Booyah's since they are cheap and you are ordering Cavitrons.

I like the clacker model, only $3.96.

Look for Eagle Claw model 254 hooks. They have a large eye. I've been using them for close to 40 years on spinnerbaits mostly but also on buzzbaits. I also use them for tying flies meant for big stripers so they are tough. They have withstood the test of time at least for me.

Yeah, I started looking at normal straight shank hooks but couldn't find a hook with a big enough eye to use as a trailer....
