What To Put In Ones Tackle Box?

Featured Replies

Outside of the normal items.  Looking for examples like super glue, toothpicks etc.

Thanks!

The #1 thing is butt wipe - mt. money, toliet paper. Super glue isn't a bad idea either. rolaids, first aid kit, extra sun glasses, sun screen, extra truck key, I'm sure I'll come up with a few others and others will too.

DON'T FORGET THE BUTT WIPE!!!!!

Toilet paper/napkins in your glove box with a first aid kit. Bottled water in your car.

Pliers, scissors, nail clippers, line conditioner, tape measure, scale, sunscreen, bug repellant, hand-warmers, gloves (both latex and working, mainly for toothy fish), polarized sunglasses, wide-mouthed bottles (for obvious reasons), rags or towels, baby wipes, lighter. Those are all the items I keep in my tackle bag.

Toilet paper. I'll never go anywhere without some in the boat/truck... You never know!

Dude wipes**

Bug spray and sunscreen. I also have found that rubber bands have come in handy a million times. Now that I am reading comments, TP sounds smart too.

Buck knife. Every time I don't have my knife I wish I did.

Also, a first aid kit. Because you brought a knife with you, and at some point something bad will happen.

A lighter or some other firestarter, because if I break down, get lost, etc and have to spend a night in the woods, I want fire

4x8 tarp instant shelter in a rain storm, and has a million uses

the mini rolls of duct tape, because when would you not need duct tape

You guys missed a some stuff. You all forgot to mention duct tape. I can't count how many fishing trips would have sucked with out it. Also a flashlight, your fishing licenses, rope maybe, and a mini survival kit for those remote trout streams.

ELECTRICAL TAPE!
