  1. So the silicone backs I posted are different but still accomplish the same thing for about $.01 apiece.
  2. Go to Amazon and search Silicone Ear Ring backs. Exact same thing but on Amazon you can buy like a 300 pack for $3-$4. You’ll never run out. I’ve been using them a while and swear by them.
  3. I know years ago Berkeley did a study where a craw with all its pinchers got bit, but a craw with one missing pincher got bit more and a craw with no pinchers got bit the most. But they were hesitant to sell a craw bait with no pinchers cause they thought no one would buy it. This all makes sense. But in my personal fishing if I’m throwing a craw bait and lose a pincher, I have never ever gotten bit on it. I have to change to a new fresh bait with both claws to get bite again. Doesnt matter if it’s a craw or a trailer, same result. Is this the same for everyone or can other people catch bass on a single claw craw bait?
  4. I have 15 or so I occasionally use. Still work to this day.
  5. Depending on the buzz baitbut I’ll sometimes cut the wire near the top and bend a circle in front of the hook with pliers throw on a bladed jig blade and it’s a “free” bladed jig
  6. I just go on Amazon and buy bulk packs of like 5000 bobber stops in medium for like $10 or that was the price last time I ordered. Only time they slip is when I get a fish, no other issues with 12 lb big game
  7. Personally I’ve never thought the benefits of living rubber outweighs the negatives of it. Especially the skirts gumming together and ruining the whole jig
  8. Living rubber has more action but less color selection. Also if you don’t keep living rubber jigs stored at a room type temperature the strands will melt together and get gummy
  9. Another vote for the Okd Town Sportsman kayak. I love it. Very stable, comfortable to fish from, and durable as can be.
  10. They work well on a shakey head.
  11. I use many 6’ rods. Cause to me accuracy triumphs all. And a shorter rod is more accurate. I can stick my bait within a baseball sized area on every cast. I can skip as far as anyone, and more accurate than most with them. The only disadvantage to me is casting distance but I don’t even see that as being that much of a difference if you have a quality reel. To me, the BPS Pro Qualifier 6’ Medium is the best rod I’ve ever used. So light and sensitive and casting is a breeze.
  12. I remove the blade and use sandpaper to rough up the wire where the blade goes, use pliers to smash the rivet flat when I put it back together and rough up the top edge of that rivet that touches the blade for extra squeak, then bend out the wire a bit so the buzz air sits lower in the water and finally I put it in front of a fan for at least 3-4 days or it in hurry I’ll use a air compressor
  13. No one is going to make a pure tungsten jig head, fishing weight, etc. It’s to hard, to high a melting point, and to much time/money to make it happen. This is why it’s only done in very very few plants in China and only a China, I believe.
  14. I love the Academy store brand 8 strand braid. I use the 10 lb on my spinning rods. It’s very smooth, strong and never had an issue. $10 a spool as well. Love it
  15. Do whatever works for you. I couldn’t do it. I tie my own at home and use them on the water. They are hand tied and have to be because I skip a lot and the bands won’t hold up to constant skipping. Besides I only use 4 colors anyway.
