air brush starter

Featured Replies

ive been thinking about makin my own lures and painting them. How much money should i spend on good airbrush. Also is it harder with the cheaper ones.

You don't have to go buy the most expensive airbrush but I would look for a quality dual action airbrush. You should be able to get one for  $50-$100 on Ebay. There are a few brands to choose from and alot of models.I would look for an airbrush with  no smaller than .3 mm nozzle.A good one to mention that you may check out is the Iwata Eclipse series. The type paints you use and the compressor are also important.Good Luck!

I recently purchased a Paasche single action H set from e-bay and like it so far. I am sure it would not be a good one for experienced painters but it works for me. The total price to my door was about $42.

The kit has everything you need, air hose, mixing jars and 3 different tips.

The link to where I got mine is below. Hope this helps.

kb here   i'm new at this to  but they told me to buy a dual action airbrush  i did, bought a badger 175 and it does real goog i think.   it does what ever you need to do to paint lures.  with a dual action brush on the toptrigger push down for the amount of air and pull back for the material  or paint to come out with a single you dont have the option to control the air and paint.  but thats just me. kb

Don't forget that you will need a air compressor. Co2 cans will not cut it.  You need a constant air flow at your own settings.
