Here are some of my bass i caught this summer. Ive been getting into swim-baits haven't landed any pigs on them yet this summer but ive been trying. most of these fish are top water frogs, live target 1oz field mouse, big worms, rage tails , spooks and buzzbaits. most of my big fish came after the full and new moons nothing before.  Hoping this fall i get some swim bait fish. I did manage to get my first 9 inch slammer fish mid day when the temp was about 94.

Wow 7.1. Nice. My year hasn't been great. Numbers and size are down considerably from last year. Last year got a few over 5 pounds, this year my biggest is 4.84. I've gotten probably 10 this year right below the 5 pound mark, just can't break it.

Well, judging from your pics and different clothing, I would say that you got out more than I have this year just by those outings in your OP pics...LOL

 

This year has been a struggle to get out and fish. I will have to say though, the handful of outings I did fish were productive. My worst year ever, I used to go 3-4 times a week from ice out to ice in. Next year will be my time, I hope.

I hope you get out and get a well deserved pig!! I'm going to be around during the school year in on the comp a lot during my breaks from class. Summer is like my outdoors 24-7 time. I'm actually getting ready to go out now lol.

I've been meaning to text you, I got the guy last week. But since we talked I've been throwing that thing for hours and hours abd hours etc..... I've had a few days windy cloudy cool,during night and day no even a follower. I,swear,I tried dead sicking that thing for at least 5 mins in between rips,jerks or a quick reel Down. I,fished in all kids of conditions including rain. But I was waking it back to shore on the hottest day this month blue bird sky's post frontal midday too.

IM going out now to throw the slammer and Chatterbait there crushing chatterbait for me at night steady retrieve about 4 fow
