Think about going to get a Fitzgerald Flipping stick but wanted to see what yall that have these think about them?  I was thinking about the 7'10 extra heavy

    I have that exact rod and it is great. It is very sensitive and for punching mats it could not be better. Tons of power. One piece of advice would be to put a little heavier reel on it to make the rod balance out a little better. If you are flipping nasty stuff down in Florida this is the perfect rod.

    I have the blue Danny Bauer flipping reel I was gonna put on it. Should that be a good setup?
