Fixing/replacing Micro Guide Help

Featured Replies

Hey All,

I have a KVD Tour Crankin' Rod and one of the micro guides had the plastic ring fall out of it. Any suggestions on how to fix it WITHOUT replacing the entire guide? I was thinking electrical tape but it's a very small guide.

Any info is appreciated! Thanks!

If you still have the insert, and it is undamaged, you may be able to epoxy it back in place. I've managed to do that once. I've failed at that more than once.

Wrapping on a new guide is the correct way to fix the problem.

Had it happen to me. Seems like all micro guides do this, I wish they would figure this out. It is a pain in my side.
