Wrapped this one up for my Nephew

Featured Replies

Wrapped this one up yesterday and put one coat of finish on it so far.

Its nothing fancy just a Batson ISJ 783 that is for my 12 y/o nephew to learn how to baitcast with. I didnt go into much detail or work on it as I am sure it will be broke before the year is out. The kid is ROUGH on equipment to say the least  ;D

Hunter Green guide wraps, Hunter green and Pearl White Matallic Fades in between the  split grip.

The rod is awesome! Your nephew is a lucky guy. The rod with the fancy butt wrap in the background is beautifull. Nice work all around!! Top notch stuff.

agree w/alpster, Very Nice Work!  ..i know that will be one happy boy.  i built one for my grandson a few months back & he still talks about "His" rod (i put his name on it & wrapped it in his favorite color)

sadly, tho, it wasn't the quality work of the ones you build, but, hey, Maybe One Day!  Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee

ronnie

And just how do you fit into this family of misfits I married into many years ago?.....  ;D ;D ;D

Thanks a lot for the compliments guys, I cant wait to give it to him on Saturday. He has no idea he is getting it, so it should be a good suprise for him.
