  1. X3 on the sharpie. I use Hi-Vis Yellow and always do this to the first 10' or so.
  2. So I am guessing its worth the extra money? ;D ;D I normally use Sunline Shooter and have seriously been considering a couple spools of this to replace some of the Shooter.
  3. Hope you guys had a good time, sure wish I could have made this. The guy that was planning on going with me, had some family issues and I didnt feel like making the trip alone.
  4. I generally start out around 6ft for the leader. I tie on a new leader when I get around 3 to 4 feet left.
  5. I use a fluorocarbon leader with bottom contact presentations. Not because of the visibility factor though. My local lake is very rocky bottom, so I use it for abrasion resistance. Normally connected with a back/back uni knot, but have been experimenting with the albright knot.
  6. I have Navionics East Lakes maps. For $10 its definitely worth it, if there are lakes on it that you normally fish.
  7. Very nice rods and awesome cork work. Is that Electric Blue Metallic on the DS rod?
  8. Black Moshannon State Park is another not to far from where you are.
  9. I voted cranks/jerkbaits. It was a hard choice over soft plastics as I always have a Jerkbait and a Tube tied on.
  10. Very nice looking wrap!!!!
  11. Thanks, Yeah I am kind of worried about that too. Always wanted to try the split seat, and after fishing it for a week on Erie, I am not sure I really like the split seat, atleast on a jerkbait rod. This might become my new Tube Rod.
  12. Reel Mech, There was a local shop near me, who sold rodbuilding supplies and they had a going out of buisness sale and I picked it up at a very good price, so I opted to build it on that. If it wasnt for that, I would have built it on the 3c.
  13. sounds great, cant wait to get my hands on a few of these.
  14. You could always try some HiVis braid with a flouro leader.
  15. I cast right handed and reel left handed. I feel your pain, there is a couple reels out there I would like, but there just not made in a lefty.
  16. Daiwa Zillion Crazy Cranker or Revo Winch would be my picks for on the rod.
  17. I prefer the Seige over the Elite, but then again I only use it on casting gear for shallow cranks and spinnerbaits.
  18. I have had both and still have a SX. I didnt see any difference in performance between the 2 reels.
  19. I been using a Revo Winch in left hand retrieve for a year now and have absolutely no complaints what so ever about it.

Yeah the last 100 did take awhile, but I really enjoyed the race.
