iPhone Apps for Fishing and Hunting????

Featured Replies

I am considering getting 2 Apps for my iPhone. The first would be a hunting/fishing lunar table app and the other would be a fishing journal app that would allow me to log in the fish weight/length, the conditions, take a pic, and plot it on the GPS and keep a running tab of info. What I'm wondering if anyone has used any of the iPhone Apps available and does anyone have any recommendations or feedback? Thanks all!

I don't have an iphone but most of the android apps were originally for the iphone so ill tell you what I have on my droid...

Lunar tables - I would just use websites and look it up, unless there's a free app out there. There's a link to a lunar table on this site.

Logs about fish - I use two programs. 1 is called My Tracks, it plots gps tracks, and all kinds of other info right on google maps. I can set markers and take photos and info for those markers.

The second log app I use is 3banana notes. I use this when I don't care about the location. Plus, the iphone and droid cameras both save the gps coordinates of any pic you take, so you really are already plotting your spots if you take photos at the location.

I have Navionics East Lakes maps. For $10 its definitely worth it, if there are lakes on it that you normally fish.
